Calming and Healing Through Sound

Sound healing works. Dating back to Ancient Greece, sound frequencies have been utilized in healing the body, mind, and spirit of human beings and animals alike. That's a really long time.


The use of sound frequency and vibration are known to reduce stress and anxiety levels, lower blood pressure, elevate moods, and help with insomnia. Hertz frequencies can activate the body's ability to rebalance, stabilize, and heal itself. Sound vibrations help to relax the body and mind, bringing both into harmony.


In this post we'll be looking at the various forms of sound healing which you can easily access from the comfort of your own home.


Let's dig right in...




1. Music


We have all experienced the power of music in our lives. It brings people together and can shift our moods faster than just about anything else under the sun. We love music. It nourishes our souls. Whether we are creating it, or simply enjoying it, we know first hand it's impact on our lives, mindset, and emotional states.


Music creates a vibrational shift within us, helping us to align with our highest good. Choosing the right music for your mood is essential. Listen to music that is dark and heavy, and your mood will plummet. Choose music that is uplifting and cheerful, and your emotional state will soar.


I listen to music a lot. A lot a lot. A lot! I listen to it to create vibrational shifts, for dancing, yoga, meditation, as well as inner healing. I quietly play hertz frequencies during my Light Language healing sessions with my clients. Music is a poweful force in our world and I believe in it's ability to create massive change and healing in our lives.


So go ahead and put on your headphones. Indulge in the blissful state that music can induce. Dance around...go forth and shake your booties, my people! You'll feel better...loads better...I promise!






2. Hertz Frequencies


Our would is made up of vibration. Everything...and I mean everything...in our world is vibration. And every vibration has it's own unique frequency.


Hertz frequencies can bring us into balance and harmony. They can clear blockages and activate healing. Every frequency activates a different type of healing within us.


Below is a list of the different Hertz frequencies and their uses.


  • 174 – reduce pain

  • 285 – healing, tissue regeneration

  • 396 – let go of fear and guilt, clear negative energy

  • 417 – facilitate change, remove mental blocks and negative energy

  • 528 – transformation & miracles, DNA repair, stop overthinking and worry

  • 639 – reconnecting, heal relationships, open heart chakra

  • 741 – full body detox, awaken intuition

  • 852 – frequency of pure love, activate intuition, return to spiritual order

  • 963open third eye, activate pineal gland


At this time, during the Coronavirus Pandemic, I suggest using 741 hertz frequency. I play this in the background during the day. It's quite powerful.


YouTube is a great source for finding the hertz frequency music that resonates best with you. Try some different ones and see how they make you feel.






3. Sound Bath With Singing Bowls


Crystal singing bowls are amazing! The sounds they produce can induce a trance, as well as clear and align the chakras.


Every bowl is attuned to a different chakra point, thus bringing balance and harmony to the energy centers of the body.

4. Binaural Beats


Binaural beats are a fabulous way to reduce stress, relax the mind and body, and meditate. They can assist with sleep, self hypnosis, and bring clarity to the mind. Binaural beats can help with concentration and focus, so they're great for studying.


It's best to use them with headphones for full effect. I use them for meditation purposes at times, and absolutely love them.


Here is a link to my favorite one, but since we're all different, just hop on YouTube and search for something that resonates with you. There's a wide variety to choose from!







5. Light Language


And last, but certainly not least, we have Light Language. Light Language is also a form of sound healing. The words, tones, and clicks that come forth through the channel bypass the language centers of the brain and go straight to the soul, the DNA, the mind and the body.


Clearing toxic energy, limiting beliefs, and raising our vibration, Light Language is a powerful tool in the arsenal of the lightworker.


Through dialects, singing, chanting and toning, Light Language can remove the buildup of negative energy, clear away blocks from many lifetimes and initiate physical healing.
